Originally from Colorado, I’ve been tattooing in a shop since 2005. Initially, I put my attention toward becoming proficient in most styles of tattooing. As I learned more about Japanese tattooing and designs, in 2014 I started focusing my energy there. It’s an ongoing endeavor that I am constantly trying to better myself at.
I’m not Japanese. I don’t have any affiliation with any traditional Japanese tattoo family (ichimon). While I have been tattooed in a traditional Japanese method (tebori), I tattoo with machines. It is my goal to be as respectful as possible, and honor the styles and rules of Japanese tattooing, as best as I know them.
Painting plays a huge role in my process, as it greatly helps me to work out formulas and strengthen my knowledge of the subject matter. That said, I sometimes sell my studies and other paintings. Feel free to email me about purchases and/or commissions.
Thank you so much for coming here and seeing my work.
